RTO coaching/reprimand

By now mgrs should be seeing the badge swipe reports ---anyone been in trouble or heard any second hand stories of mgr/direct conversations?

If they got rid of every middle manager & employee that had legitimate complaints against them with their CONDUCT, they wouldn't need to go through this to thin the numbers.

What about all the favorites who wfh or had offices close? Like in Ops Risk, CCAR, Stress Testing, etc. They get to work without fear or repercussions from home.

Yes. It is real. I have several colleagues who have been reprimanded. Apparently it doesn’t matter how long you were in the office, just that you were there. Or at least, that you swipe your badge, or for those who don’t have a badge, that you have logged in at a Wells Fargo site. I have a colleague who was actually the only person on her floor when a delivery man appeared without any credentials or badge. She was the only person on the floor at the time. Excuse me, how safe is that??? This place is a sh-t show! I am holding out for severance.

Reprimand!??? Another threat by this company. Spending the millions on reporting on the $$ you stole from all the bank customers? No one is afraid of the mental abuse and torture. Go to he&&

I wish we could see the report. My manager said according to the report I averaged 3.5 days in the office. No way is that correct. I have not come in an extra day and if I have pto or there is a holiday I count it as an office day and come in that many less days. I should be at 3 exactly. Since it’s in my favor great but something is off.

Correction: it's being intentionally mislabeled as a performance issue. It's demonstrable in my role that wasting time in a car is detrimental to performance. They could legitimately call it a conduct issue, ignoring a directive or policy, but it's not performance thing. Not even close.

So glad Wells is wasting time/money on monitoring rather than increasing revenue.

@1jwe+1mL88L39 or others pulling tableau report

Is it distinguishable within the report if I’m on wf network or badge in location? Meaning, can my manager tell where I’m logging in from if I work at another WF location than the assigned workday one. Curious how far they can drill down in the report.

the middle managers that facilitate the evil doing (bad karma) of the c-suite. super cool, I hope your paycheck is worth it. STAND UP for what's right, for what you believe in and then maybe you wouldn't feel like an empty souless being at the end of the day.

What is super unfortunate about reading these comments is all the MANAGERS that so easily play the game of monitoring. If everyone stood up and said no, we wouldn't be in this situation. Disappointed in the manager that pulls the report EVERY DAY. Bootlicker is what came to mind.

Confirming @1jwe+1mL88L39's reply as accurate. Dadhboard shows mgrs teams RTO by week and calculation uses badge swipes or logging into the network in the office. Also gives office day credit for PTO days.
Fairly confident that # of hours in office each day isn't part of the reporting at this point. You badge in or log in on-site, you're getting credit.

I access the dashboard daily for my team. There is a schema that is built into the report based on ip and/or badge swipe. It actually states as such on the report. If you hit the network you’re good. If you badge in and don’t log on, you’re good.

managers now have access to tableau reporting and are expected to monitor.

they are also required to start people on the documented warning process for not meeting specific thresholds.

all of this is being monitored centrally as well, so if a manager is not complying with the above requirements - then they are in trouble and subject to warning, etc

it's real folks.

Manager mentioned to my teammate he had been in enough. But that’s about it. They are def reviewing badge reports.

I know of a team that was written up in workday due to ip addresses not matching up to RTO expectations. I know of an individual given a verbal warning for not meeting expectations.

I heard it was badge swipes to the elevators (managed by Kastle) not onto the floor.

Its badge swipes. I am getting the reports, so badge swipes. They can do IP but for my BG it’s badge swipes for now. I’ve coached a few employees but the vast majority of my team are in compliance. This is a performance issue and very likely will affect bonus.

It’s IP address not badge swipes. No stories about getting in trouble because I’m a good noodle.
