Any more details? More build cuts coming?
What about voluntary options?
Is anyone hearing anything for the sanbar organization? Get me out!!
6/22 notification and 7/6 off payroll
Yes, it will be done before any impacts from RTO stuff
Notified 6/22 off payroll 7/6. CNIO. Don’t count on any non management offers. I was told as NM retire, no backfill. Company is strapped for cash and won’t pay severance. People have volunteered to be cut to save jobs for others but are being denied and people who want to stay and are good performers are being cut. It’s not being handled the same for everyone. The RTO is to try to cut more without having to pay severance. Getting down to 110k employees within the next 24 months. 15k of that by 2024 is the plan. This bunch is ruthless and mean business. They don’t know how to innovate so they just cut people. People who stay will be doing more work….will be set up for failure. Most people who go won’t go with a severance. Choose your poison and buckle up. More turbulence ahead.
We are expecting management layoffs in our group in late June/early July. Part of Arnoldi's group. More outsourcing
I’m craft with a whole lot of seniority and am willing to take a layoff to safe a newbies job! I just want to get that damn severance pay I’ve seen so many people get over the years.
Well, the RTO "thing" is the biggest layoff in the company's history. We are waiting to see how it plays out. In the meantime, I would love to be invited to join in the "legacy" layoff, and get a severance payment which seems unlikely under the conditions of the new layoff.
There is definitely another surplus coming. My director confirmed we'd be impacted, probably June/July.
They're probably waiting to get a decent estimate of who's going to quit after RTO...
I've heard a lot about construction mid June. Still hiring prem in many areas though. Anyone else heard anything?
Anyone hear anything for specific groups or is this company wide?
I’ve been hearing about notifications on 6/15.
There was a surplus already in motion prior to RTO. 2 week notice off payroll 6/30.
What? Set RTO aside? Are you nuts?
It's the only thing that matters right now.
