RTO Dallas locations - Plano?

Hi all,
For the Dallas “hub” buildings, does anyone know yet if Richardson (2270 lakeside) or Plano (3400 plano pkwy) will remain and we can work from there? I live an hour north of Plano so hoping to continue working there if possible. Thank you!

Akard St we were told is our Dallas location and Richardson is not considered part of the hub. Nothing mentioned on Plano but I'd assume it is not part of Dallas hub

Why does Plano close in 2026?

Yes. Just because your location is in St. Louis doesn’t mean your VP will choose St Louis as one of the Core locations for their business unit.

is the hub work location defined by your business unit?

From what I am hearing your location will depend on where they want your team. Do your boss and most of your coworkers report to your current hub location? Congrats, you might get to stay.

If your team reports to a non-hub everyone relocates.

If your team is dispersed a hub location will be selected. Everyone not already at that location relocates.

Never your choice and having a hub local doesn't matter to where you will be assigned.

Plano will be open.

But it is not your decision as to where you will be located in the “hub”. Depending on how Corporate Real Estate assigns your work location you may drive right past the Plano office on the way to downtown Dallas.

I expect the Plano office will be around for a good while but you may have to be assigned. My understanding is the hub location cannot be chosen.

Not long term, you will eventually, by 2026, need to be in Dallas in Whitacre Tower.
