If you're American enough is enough. Let's recalibrate who exactly operates the ship.
Friday May 26th and Tuesday May 30th let's do our own Ohana in memory of our laid off American co workers by doing a No Work silent protest, no emails, no IM's, no work, 100% of these both these days should be spent with friends/family/community. Spread the message. Charlie needs to know who's boss.

One day you'll wake up and realize that Charles is targeting everyone in the US. You're not safe in any location other than Hudson Yards. Their dream is to have a couple thousand US workers at most, everything else would be automated or overseas. Newsflash, you ain't part of that dream.

i@1efa+1mKF5N3G, the only rules in play are the laws India has in place about data derived in India. That data can not reside outside the country, even if the data center in question is more secure. But private data of American citizens is pretty much a free for all. Wells Fargo has done their best to build in "plausible deniability", but some of us know the true exposure. Ohana is the least of our worries but still, a HUGE slap in the face for US workers still trying to fight the good fight.
Re: the data breach comment. The international network has stringent controls in place where the data remains on the mainland. India still has managed to perform data breaches and were caught, even recently. Facts for those of us in the know.
Its all over LinkedIn #Ohana2023, etc.. I think it clear Charlie not only thinks India is the future but he's smashing this in our faces now.. Our politicians have basically sabotaged American workers and destroyed most our big cities. They live better over there than we do and have jobs.
If DSM had hundreds laid off weekly, we would already have exited the city. No need to over-exaggerate so much.

This celebration is nothing compared to what the India and Philippines employees get on the regular in comparison to the US employees. There’s a reason beyond permanent establishment rules that you or I cannot view the amount of days off, exorbitant required salary % increases or other HR benefits. US employees would be in an uproar.
And yes, they make a fraction of the US. However, they also can manage to afford private schools for their children, take more vacations than most US people, pay nanny’s to take care of the kids, hire house cleaners or cooks and much more. So don’t give me the “third world country” speech because I know better. Yes the cities themselves look like dumps. But that is only a fraction of the picture.
And let’s not get started on how the US companies like WF are perfectly OK to align with India for a salary cost savings even though India is an ally of Russia. No one talks about that. Where’s Liz W on that topic when she wants to skewer WF? Radio silent.
