Ain't nobody braggin' about working for at&t anymore. You may find it hard to believe, but there was a time when employees at at&t were proud and felt fortunate to be employed by at&t. Can't say that anymore! Stankey has dr-g all current employees into the mud pit he created.

We make communication work. Vital workers.
Love seeing Lily on the commercials. Forever a Lily fan.
One of my coworkers was proud and bragged. He could climb a telephone pole. Didn't think he should update his skills. Now he is just a bitter old guy. Not proud anymore.
I was neither proud or ashamed working for AT&T, until the commercial campaigns launched with Lily the Mascot. After that, I felt an unshakeable sense of shame.
@xqw+1mGmeDlA, really? It was the WFH folks who merged with DTV and Time Warner? It was the WFH folks who blundered a T-Mobile merger and had to fork over $5Billion in penalties? It was the WFH folks who led a highest-in-the-industry rate of subscriber loss in the pay TV segment? It was the WFH people who launched the astoundingly disatrous DIRECTV-Now and AT&TTV services? It was the WFH group that has led T stock to lower and lower levels?
Dang ... that kind of legacy would have given WFH folks a $25 Million annual salary with multi-million dollar bonuses.
Man, how long ago was it where people were actually proud to work for T? Because it certainly wasn't that way back in 2015.
I remember feeling a sudden, intense sense of embarrassment and humiliation at having to admit to being a T employee when they took over DIRECTV and we were suddenly part of the deathstar.
The WFH people who multi-task their side hustles and use WFH as childcare ruined this for everyone. Without a doubt. It’s always one group of (expletive) that ruins a good thing for everyone.
Look at the 80's commercials "You Will" with Tom Selleck. The creativity and innovation at AT&T was the reason for so much of what we have today, and it was a lot to be proud of. Now, I do not wear anything AT&T related in my off hours- ever. The only thing you get it stories about bad service and billing, bad TV, and how they went to another carrier for service.
You are absolutely correct! When I got hired on, I was so proud to work there. By the time I was laid off I was ashamed. They used to be a great company to work for. Not anymore!
Yeah. It was a very strategic decision to delay the RTO communication until after the employee survey and survey results were published. The entire survey would have been trashed if it was vice versa. Stankey (most of the executive team for that matter) isn't interested in real feedback from employees any more than he is concerning customer service. They are in headcount reduction and real estate offloading mode to try and dig us out of the very hole they dug themselves into the last 10 years. They are a group of professional liars for sure and Stank is king liar pe-------d. They can all KMA.
Ain't that the truth!
