Keyboard had the sanitized card and was unoccupied. I found a USED tissue and the a sanitized card from days gone by. This is beyond gross!

The joy of not giving a fork is that you just sit in their unassigned desk and watch them move all their stuff elsewhere. Then the next day sit somewhere else and make them go through the process.
I thought I was the only one who thought this place smelled like a sh*thole!

Gather all the personal items and throw them away. Start the RTO war.
At my location, about 1/3 of the cubes and 3/4's of the offices have squatters in them. (Even though there are signs all over saying everything is shared space.) Of course the squatters took all the cubes closest to the windows and the nicest offices. A good portion of the rest of the cubes have bad chairs, wonky monitors or are missing keyboards, mice, docking stations etc.
Some people have put signs out announcing that even though this is shared space, this cube isn't or put out personal pictures and tchotchkes. But others do things like leave a coffee cup, a headset or something else "small." So they are clearly "marking" their cube, but don't want to be accused of marking their cube and also don't want to leave anything of value.
I'm tempted to go in really early one day and collect everything that's left on the desks and put it all into the break room. And then watch everyone have melt-downs over plastic cups that have gone missing.
@1mwu+1mF5NmYZ, same I get in very early everyday too. Our floor isn't that busy, fingers crossed it stays that way
Fight back. Annoying PCB with magnet under a chair leg, by a printer, office, etc. They are quite fun
The cleaners do not clean the keyboard, mouse, etc. They just empty the trash and sometimes they wipe down the desk.
When we RTO'd last year, there was an email that stated what they will clean and what they won't, at least for my location. I thought omitting the keyboard and mouse was an odd choice given what was going on.
They don't even clean in the Chandler hub. No garbage pail in the cube and drawer full of used tissue....
I must say the cleaning crew do a very good job at my location.
Don’t look too close at your chair
In the closet I’m in, oh I mean the “focus room”, there’s a sign someone taped to the door saying they reserved it. F you. The closet next door has a broken monitor and no mouse. Fun!

I make sure this doesn’t happen to me by going in every day by 7am. So far it has worked and no one else has used my cube.
This is the RTO version of dogs "marking" their territory. Someone found a cube they want and are claiming it. You can deal with the grossness or find another cube.
They stopped using those “sanitized” cards at my location a LONG time ago
I hope you left it there for me. I like to reuse my kleenex
