Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

157K employees to 142K by 12/31

Current employee count per most recent qrtly report. 15K job cuts by year end per stinkmeister grinch himself. Also, he today cancelled Christmas, because it's just not woke enough, and also not cost efficient. Per stinky: "it's time to rationalize our holiday count", since we're overburdened with some real nasty debt incurred under St. Randy.

I wish T would do the right thing and poll its employees to see who actually is willing to leave on their own without having to force out those employees that would like to stay. I'm sure if T polled every one of its employees, they would get at least 2,000 employees that would be glad to leave with their severance pay in hand and just cut all ties with T! I'm not sure what ATT is afraid of. I've seen this company waste more money than a hundred of its employees can earn in their entire careers. T throws money away like it grows on trees and never thinks twice about it! Do the right thing, T!

AT&T will be at 142k actual employees by NFL kick-off. One deceptive item with those numbers is all of the “Employees” located in India that are being hired. See GVM, Global Vendor Management.

They will eventually get in line with Verizon at ~115k employees. That's always been the goal.

A phone company does not need that many workers. Need to right size the company.
