Agile is/was just like anything else the big wigs signed up for. Spend an enormous amount of money, go through years of trying to incorporate it into a complete disaster of a system(s) we have. Realize it sucks, but oooops, too late, we spent so much that we have to at least try to make it work now. That goes for so many home-grown internal sites too. It just takes way too long to get anything in tech done at WF. And with all the layoffs of goods techs based on some third party algorithm, bye goes the talent that knows how all the band-aids are help together.

so true and when you ask for coaching help, they direct you to a ppt ot a confluence site but don’t “teach” you how to execute the process

100%! How is it that a few jokers on a layoff site understand the way things work better than bank leadership?

Stakeholders want to know two things: When will it be delivered? And, how much will it cost? Agile fails on both! Instead, you get sprints and story point.

What a disaster this Agile methodology is. There are a lot on my team that there true colors have come out because they are afraid of loosing their jobs. What a shame.

Add one new transaction to any legacy system and we all know there are impacts to dozens of applications upstream and downstream. Under Agile that work is spread cross 20-30 Agile teams with their own timelines and most of the time just finding out what team needs to change what is monumental. Something is always missed because nowhere is the big picture painted. It's a joke. Best to try and limit the damage until it all disolves.
