Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Rainy days and Mondays

Always get me down. That and working for a company with record setting debt. How long will it take to retire $135B of debt? 20 years?

The Federal Reserve will inflate the debt away. They've been in stall mode for two years. Transitory indeed. The real value of that debt is already down 10-15%.

I think with the debt in this country, particularly national debt, the Fed's hands are tied.

At&t has more debt than most third world country economies. I don't think most people can comprehend how massive $135B really is.

They'll find some ways to insert some obscure fees in the billing, get fine for cents on the dollar and call it a win on some VPs performance report

If customers would simply pay their AT&T bills on time, all the the debt would be gone by the end of the year.

Pay it off over 1000 years. Tiny payment. Problem solved. No longer have to wet pants over debt.

They just get revolving lines of credit. Easy to do. Huge cash flow business on the mobility side.
