Thread regarding IBM layoffs

Everyone else on my team has been RAd and replaced by someone younger or in India. Only I am safe because I worship my FLM by licking his an us every day. It's the only way to stay employed at IBM.

@cd how dare you! Our leaders and managers are the industry’s best. Tip of the spear! IBM management reputation is sterling and has been since the 60s. When people hear IBM manager they think that they are absolute best of the best. They should be worshipped and revered. You should thank your God for them.

@cc Totally agree! When they sc--w us it's to pleasure us. And they do it at great risk that they might catch something from us.

@b8 apologies - forgot to mention in my earlier response to you. Yes - it is all agreed behind the walls. I suspect the managers were given % targets for layoffs. Sorry but not sorry for them because they may be the next. I had my separation papers done by HR at the time of PIP.

@b8 agreed. Believe me, I have seen it all. Team members who put you down, management saying that colleagues are not to be treated as friends....This company became very toxic years ago. I am glad for PIP and severance package. I am no longer stressed out every morning, I finally sleep well and enjoy stressful days.

Just when you thought you've seen it all, next moves are being made behind the walls.
Where everything is already done and decided.
What kind of company is this, where loyalty and engagement does not count at all.
No communication, selective actions among selected people who happen to be the usual suspects. A true toxic place this is.
