Tech gal here - this site is a common discussion topic amongst tech, HR, legal, and similar people. Everything posted here is known to them. They joke about it in private channels. They watch it, they share it.
The Nike lawyers will get involved with the site owners to bring lawsuits. Your IP is disclosed by your ISP in legal filings if you divulge too much.
Some even try associating your posts with language you share over slack to try identifying you. Simple AI comparisons against your Slack history will be used to perform linguistic analysis. Tongue samples will be used to differentiate you from any potential twins. They may even try to link you to 9/11.

Tech does monitor who visits this site on Nike devices. I have been told that from people in tech.
It is well known that the folks who run Thelayoff are well shod and wrapped in Nike product and all have new Apple watches.
Also, don't open this site from Nike devices. I can't believe some employees read this site while on their desks on campus.
if someone can guess who you are by what you post, of course there is a chance it could come back to haunt you. The chances of that happening are pretty low, unless you post information only a very select people would know or otherwise identify yourself. Even then, it's probably highly unlikely as someone would have to give a sh-t. Now if you threaten someone or confess to doing something illegal, they can subpoena your IP from the owners of this site and then from your ISP to figure out who you are and come after you, but if you are doing that, then you deserve it.
