I encourage you to go read up on history, he was dead, placed in a tomb with a large stone placed over the entrance and sealed with 2 Roman soldiers guarding. Fast forward 3 days later when the two Mary’s went to anoint his body with spices as was the custom when they discovered the stone rolled back. An Angel greeted them and showed them the empty tomb. After that he appeared to many people including Thomas and showed them his grievous wounds before his ascension. They say as many as 500 people witnessed him after his resurrection. Witnessing vs saying someone is alive is 2 different things.

Yes we know, majority of religions have a tomb you can visit their leader/god and bring offerings but there is ONE that was witnessed by many people to have died and arose 3 days later and walked among the living until the heavenly ascension. Prior to that many miracles were witnessed and recorded for all history. The Easter Story is awesome and we didn’t have any layoffs that day either.
