Holidays do not count towards the 3 days in office requirement

I have a question. Since we are a Global Bank and I am based in NAM but deal globally, would I be able to go in the office on a holiday and have that counted towards my 3 day requirement. For example, we have an upcoming holiday in October. If I go into the office that day would that count?

@a3 totally dependent on location. Very few employees of this global corporation can collaborate in person because team members are all over the globe; try bringing Budapest, Poland, New York, South Dakota and Florida to sit at the table.. zoom is now the status quo. office is not necessary.

holidays (only 'til 09/30), sick days, and vacation just reduce your in-office expectation count. If your site requirement is 3 days and you book time off, it reduces your requirement accordingly. for example if you book 2 days off, your onsite requirement goes to 1 for that week. the actual days you show up are irrelevant. you can book 2 days sick to reduce your requirement to 1 day, and actually show up on one of the those sick days, and you'll still pass for that week.

@OP The US Holiday Schedule is available as is the policy on Citi.net. Core holidays are already prepopulated in Workday so there is no flexibility to substitute a holiday you don’t want to take for another random day. Markets and a few other areas follow a slightly different holiday schedule so the best thing to do is check the intranet or even possibly consider asking Citi Assist.

@OP Create followership, double-click on the teamwork and circle back with this group once you have laid it out and assessed it.

They will put you on a PIP if they want to fire you, and they can pay you less or no severance during this process. That is how sadistic they have become nowadays. All those millions in severance packages that were set aside for the next six months will be shared by the MDs and Directors who want to leave on their own. This entire system is a scam. You are nothing less than slaves to them.

Cross-functional. Break down those silos, collaborate and communicate with those around you. Form cohesion to solve problems and gain efficiency. Embrace this opportunity from an enterprise perspective.

I would imagine that it would count since weekends count too. It's a numbers game. Not really about any sort of collaboration. Even if your entire team was in a different location and your only interaction with them via Zoom, you would still need to go in.

@a3 everyone I work with are located in other countries or other states. My work is global. So when I do go into the office I am there all alone all the time.

No. The purpose of RTO is to capitalize on cross-functional collaboration, spontaneous communication, and strengthening the best aspects of our company culture.

How do you expect to accomplish any of this, in the office on a local holiday? Who is going to be there alongside you?
