Please only reply with factual information. Are we expecting any layoffs for this Thursday with expecting a big layoff in October? And do we have a date for October? Areas/teams to be hit? All grades? Optum/UHC/CHC employees? I know its the last quarter and it can be rumor mill on this site, so don't always like to get worked up over nothing, but also can't change what's going to happen.

Several dozen x Allina epic people were thrown away like trash after decades of service. I just hope its not true about our serverence counting from our rebadge date versus our original hire date. Was told we'll find out tomorrow.

OPTUM TECH layoffs Started in August for that was when I got RIF. 26 Engineers reviewed, 10 let go. A third of staff removed, how does a board do that bad of a job in projecting how company will grow and determine profits?
I very much have the feeling we are going to be hit in OI on Thrusday this week.
At this point how can there be any Optum Tech left? It seems like all Tech, Training, Quality, Business Analyst positions that can be cut have long been released and replaced offshore, if we are lucky. And with the big AI push the few of us remaining know it’s just a matter of time…. And I was hoping I could make it until the Trump administration was over so I could feel more secure about health insurance post-employment/pre-social security 😢
@fk Mine was moved from Tuesday to Thursday this week. However, I just double checked and the whole series was moved to Thursdays moving forward.
Did anyone else have their 1:1 with their manager moved to Thursday this week? I'm not paniced yet, but I checked my managers calendar and she clearly didn't have a calendar conflict for moving it from today.

@bg I heard the same . Reorgs all over the place. Hearing ORx this week some parts of OI too. RIFs can't be far behind, and a few contacts have said it was next Thursday.

I heard that Optum Tech will have about a 15% cut in the O&M budget. My manager was asked to prepare a list. No dates given as to when it will be implemented
Only thing I know from tech side is completion of AI Dojo is going to be a factor however small it might be.
