That was at Ford Credit. What a bunch. Unfortunately I cannot retire right now so I guess I will be on the chopping block Monday morning. Had great reviews until this came up. What a pathetic bunch.

You should be doing Quiet Quitting until they offer you a deal. Milk them until the end, because they have been using you all of these years.
@a4+1m30k0yrb, me too. i was cut right before the december refigure of the pension so i was under the old numbers. to @op, were you cut yesterday? we hope not.
Ford needs lessons in common sense problem solving. I did my part. Get a lawyer, preferably a friend or family member that will take the time to teach you about how the law works, document everything, and fu-k them. Or at least scare a lesson into them.
This is the representative sentiment of Ford as I have seen. After Boston Consulting uncovered that easy button for them (2022 layoffs) they are using it as a shortcut. Ford Credit is an extraordinary organization in that they get the most press on this board. Looks like it's not undeserved. Good luck to you. The dynamic changes when you have these factors to consider. Ford management in general is full of flakes. Don't trust them with your future, not only don't they deserve that trust, they aren't able (and don't care enough) to deliver. Maintain as much control over your future as you can. Hope you're well invested by this point in your career.
How old are you, and how long have you been with the company? Are you under a pension plan at Ford Credit, and if so, have you hit an acceleration milestone (age 55 or 30 years)? Good luck. I was broomed right before I hit a milestone, so I hope this doesn't happen to you.
