- Bechtel - warned that up to 200 employees at its Reston, Virginia headquarters could be laid off following the end of its partnership with TerraPower on a Wyoming nuclear project.
- PepsiCo - laid off 143 workers at its Cheverly, Maryland facility as the company ends manufacturing and warehouse operations at the bottling plant.
