Fake news. SK Hynix already denied it publicly. It is a made up news by Intel. Each time, there is such a fake news by Intel, it is accompanied by a layoff, indicating the company is incapable of making anything but fake news.

Intel is constantly cheating to the market.

They will hire the workforce when there is something for them to do.

A person might think that the workers would have realized by now that the strategy to hold on to excess capacity, including ridiculous levels of seed and cross site activity, are no longer the strategy.

Google says there are "plans". When there are "plans", that just means it's a stock.

I don't believe OP tell the truth since it isn't the first time Intel make memory chips in the US. Actually, Intel used to make memory chips first before even making CPUs. Intel abandoned the memory chip business under CEO Andy D after laid off 8000 employees during the 80s.

OP tried to make up the headlights to bump up the stock after mistakenly buying its over priced stocks.

@bt Bechtel ramped up hiring some months ago, and that was about the time the rumors of SK Hynix potentially either buying, leasing or doing a JV.

Seems a number of options are on the table, and there appears to be enough 14a demand from external customers to fill the site anyway.

But an SK deal would in some form, pay for completion, so that is a better option.

@bh According to Intel's job openings website, there are currently 3 total Intel job openings in the entire Ohio.

The rumor has been around for a bit of time, and previous descriptions of it were that SK and Intel would do a JV, with SK essentially paying to complete the Ohio site.

So SK gets capacity and Intel gets site completion.

The Ohio site has been hiring and work there has accelerated over the past 6 months, so looks like Intel is at least preparing for something to happen.

14a is progressing nicely and there is a flock of external customers circling over head.

Completing the Ohio site with customer commitments for that capacity would radically change IFS finances, and that removes the big drag on the stock.

Pat was right to add a new site, although he was delusional about the timing and maybe the location as well. LBT is showing him how to make lemonade.

Intel made fake news and utilized other companies to pump up stock: Nvidia, Google, AMD, SK Hynix, etc. All these companies have rejected corporation with Intel Foundry, because Intel does not have good foundry technology. Working with Intel is equivalent to su----e.
