@OP In some countries the previous RIF did not even begin yet , due to lengthy layoff process
For the end-of-March RIFs, I was laid off mid-June in central Europe.
@b1 the workers council from which country? I doubt there is one for the UK.
It has started, the workers council is meeting for consulting period, most probably it will start in November
It took ages last year: US/India were told in August and it took until October/November for EMEA. In the UK, that was just the start of the consultation period - effectively gardening leave - with people's last day being in January!
