How does Oracle compare?

for those who have worked at Oracle and other large tech or enterprise software companies, how does Oracle compare?

I'm interested in feedback by foks who have worked at companies like microsoft, SAP, salesforce, IBM, Cisco, etc. How would you compare the culture & comp, workload, mgmt, job security and opportunities for promo/growth?

As someone moving from medium sized tech company I find Oracle less stable and more intense... also a bit more bureaucratic with slower promo... comp and career growth are equivalent...

have any of you worked for Amazon? it's by far the worst company of big 10.

I used to work for Oracle few years back and would say Oracle is worst among all top 10 IT companies. Work environment is worst, salary is very low, no reward and recognition.
You will get promotions and salary hikes if you are good in buttering your manager and will survive layoff.
Will not recommend anyone to work there unless you are not finding any other job in market.
