I just kinda had a feeling I’d be let go, if not then.. eventually. Well my job along with others is posted. We had been told that we were in jeporday.. which is still being told to the remaining teams… confused on why they would repost a position that is already struggling.

That’s legit though. Just because you want to leave and they accepted doesn’t mean they don’t need your old role anymore. They can rehire under the same title and pay 20-30% less potentially.

@OP the VSP was for people who were ready to retire or move on. The fact you are still snooping around as to what happened to your role… I mean why? Why do you care? You applied for VSP. It was accepted.
You’re out. Stop trying to find out what happens. Your role will be filled or merged or whatever. The point is, you moved on… so move on. No for real like actually move on.

Why are you looking to see if your job is posted? Maybe that means you wouldn’t have been part of ISP? Do us all a favor. When (if) you land a new job, look that company up on this layoff site and tell us all how safe you are. Welcome to the job market. Oh and don’t reapply to come back here.

Replacing you for cheaper. Corporations do this all the time.
You have a car that goes 10 miles to the gal, you sell it and get a car the gets 20 miles to the gal. You see where I’m going with this? Soon they will have A.I. do the job even cheaper and they will no longer require a job posting at all.
How is it not obvious to you that volunteering to leave does not equate to that position no longer being needed? If you were gone for an ISP, sure. But you essentially resigned and any time someone resigns, leaders evaluate whether or not they need to backfill.
They are bringing people in with a starting pay that’s extremely low. I took the VSP, my pay with no experience in care navigation was $34 an hour. I saw online they’re starting at $22.
Report it to EEOC - it's looking like CNC was trying to outsource to Cognizant cheaper labor which is technically illegal (while EEOC hasn't always acted on it in the past the new leadership is actively investigating Cognizant and and positions posted after mass layoffs).
