CNC - EEOC violation? Cognizant contract

The EEOC has actively started cracking down on companies for using staffing agencies like Cognizant to replace American workers with low cost foreign visa workers. CNC announced a billion dollar deal with Cognizant a little over a month before the massive layoffs (and Cognizant is already under investigation by dept of labor for H1b and PERM fraud).

It might be a good time to send in EEOC complaints if you lost your position right after the Cognizant contract announcement (which was in the news in July). In the past EEOC has not done much but they're pushing hard for reports/tips right now AND there's a few lawyers in their comments section trying to dig into fortune 500 company violations

@dq exactly and lets blast them liars for their false claim they have included in many RFPs which is one reason they won them giving false assurance that by Centene winning this contract, it will produce jobs for the different communities. NOPE! they just outsource that work for pennies on the dollar and pocket the extra revenue

@bw actually both are heavily linked. Cognizant supplies IT labor AND circumvents higher cost staffing (this link abused in multiple instances is why Cognizant is under investigation with multiple govt agencies). If CNC is expanding contracts it's to continue and expand staffing through them at lower cost.

@OP Just to let you know, The Cognizant relationship with CNC has been going on well before any of this and their partnership is heavily IT related. Likely one thing has nothing to do with the other.

Cognizant is a global technology services and consulting company that helps businesses modernize their technology, build artificial intelligence (AI) solutions, and improve operations. Replacing Americans with low cost foreign visa worker would actually be far better than what Cognizant is currently doing to Centene and the American economy.

Wait until the states and feds figure out that Centene is hiding the fact that thousands of humans are currently being displaced by Agentic A.I. disguised as cost-cutting, overstaffing and macroeconomic pressures. Each case is a human job eliminated, not just displaced. That is why they are not disclosing it.
