Hearing rumors of more 30 day notices being done 09/30. Anyone else heard anything?

Fort Worth office is shutting down, notices sent out to most employees for termination starting 9/30. A few lucky individuals are being asked to stay on till April. Any word on what the package is for those being let go 9/30?
