@1aw Yeah other countries have much better protections for workers. 12 weeks max severance (last I knew) for Xerox employees in the US. I recall when we bought out a Belgium company many years ago and shut them down they got an insane amount of severance, though I'm not sure if it was paid by Xerox or by the government.
We are just cogs in the machine here in the US.

Legit reasons to complain. But my experience has been very good. I also know Ill get plenty of ribbing for this message and that’s okay. I would questions the Lex teams swagger though and say they don’t have much experience to be making decisions they are currently. But that’s part of their learning. I just take it week to week at this point.
If you need our cr-ppy severance to enable you to leave, you have already failed.

Severance is a token gesture. They throw you a piece of lettuce, only so you can’t say they didn’t give you anything. 🥬
How about, "hopefully we won't have any layoffs soon". Jesus, they've been a Xerox staple for the last 25 years. Enough already.
If you get severance, it's not much. Nothing like they paid out decades ago. Before I retired I considered waiting for a VRIF package but it wasn't worth the wait.
