@ak - Do what's right for your family. You are right there are other companies. Use them as long as you have to until you find something else, but escape the toxic abuse. The bureaucracy has gotten even worse since May, didn't even think it was possible. Consider if you only had 5 years to live, would you spend your precious time here?
i have to feed my family. But I am looking externally because going into fidelity is the same as going in anywhere else. Eventually I will find a role with less bureaucracy, dead weight, and less politics and feed my family while also increasing my own quality of life. Who knows, I might find a flexible employer that helps me improve my whole family's quality of life so I can flex work around actually living with kids schools, sports, doctors, illnesses etc.
