All the major networks ran a scary story about Anthropic AI and its danger to humanity. Forget how worthless it is: it is dangerous.

Look at the 291 entries in the recent AI workshop on the intranet. 289 or so were submitted by unpronounceable names.
The only danger of AI is how google erased white people from history and how AI might be used to do bad things. Just like every other technology...
Why do you think that the AI companies themselves are sounding the warning and pushing for government oversight?
It’s because their bubble is about to burst in the next year or two. They can’t sustain the cost of tokens. They want to get regulated so they can petition for a government bailout when the time comes.
They will warn of an economic crash and recession. Government oversight and regulation puts them in line for a bailout just like the banks in 2008 while average people suffer regardless.
AI is so bad (and now so dangerous) that we all just lie to the Indian higher-ups (they’ll never know over there in Pune) and tell them it is great while none of us use it any longer.
AI is terrible and no one on my team is “buying in.” No one uses it and there are crickets whenever it is mentioned at a meeting or on a call. Now it can harm humanity—lovely. I saw those stories, too. Very disturbing.
What no one has mentioned and what is the biggest danger that’s no doubt coming in the next 5 to 10 years is merging AI with human biology. That’s a way bigger threat to future of humanity. I can see many people going that route thinking it’s giving them an edge. If that happens they become a human hybrid no longer the same biology.
