The 4 years of monthly payments gets a lot of people to or close to Medicare. Those payments easily cover healthcare costs ( for now)
There are people who can take the offer before the age of 64 because they have a spouse that can cover their medical. How many of you are single in here? No one seems to think about their spouse's medical coverage as an option. I wonder why?

@az If such a person actually exists, God bless them. For the rest of us back here in the real world, it's off to work we go until Medicare age.

@az perhaps some have saved enough. But medical will burn through a chunck of savings until medicare.
Pass it on to someone who is better prepared.
Or if you're 50 and have saved enough to leave.
