Ruiz Foods is implementing layoffs affecting approximately 175 positions at its Dinuba manufacturing plant. These reductions are scheduled to take effect on November 4th. The company cited a need to align production capacity with anticipated customer demand as the reason for the cuts. Employees were informed of the decision on September 2nd, and the Dinuba facility currently employs around 1,400 individuals. Eligible workers will receive severance packages and may have opportunities to apply for positions at other Ruiz Foods locations.
