‘Wholesale’ payments was a code word that 25 year old consultants used to con a group of sub par SunTrust senior managers to cut costs to look good for a couple of quarters. Most underwhelming group of narcissists that I ever encountered.

Easy answer, its Ward and his cronies. If he would focus more on delivery instead of feeding his ego and thinking he is bff with Lyons something might actually be done.
I’ve seen so many teammates and leaders leave this month that were 5 year, ten year, 20 year and 25 year teammates. The waves of mass exodus is nothing new to us although this is the second time I’ve seen so many tenured people leave. The first time was immediately after the merger. I asked my manager because we both see this trend. They said it’s from institutional fatigue.
Great question! There are layers of teammates, but still so many operational gaps. Several positions need to be back-filled, not rolled on to someone else's plate. Senior leadership is so busy trying to drive, until they fail to see many teammates aren't event on the bus! Total disconnect.
