Are IPs really being tracked I have been doing the four hours but only see mac 2 people , curious if there is ways around this and I’m missing out on this? Doesn’t it matter for bonus or am I just wasting my time?

@bm You don't need to "be on here everyday" to know that RTO tracking changes were announced in April by your employer. It's September now. You haven't noticed the change that was implemented 5 months ago? No need to reply.
USB does "targeted layoffs" just about every single month of every year for several years now. This will not change. It's how the bank operates. Goonjun and her brainwashed McKenzie squad see this is the ideal way to operate. Constantly cut people and rehire more cheaply somewhere else (sometimes offshore, other times in lower cost geography locations onshore). She/they truly do not give a sh-t about the employees, only about meeting whatever organizational targets their McKenzie consultants tell them in powerpoint decks they need to achieve. They brainlessly implement.

My guess is that they are tracking our time in office but not including it in our personal tracking, But, at some point they’ll come up with an average of time spent in the office for the company as a whole. If that average is under 6 hours they will start mandatory 8 hours. I think about half the people on my floor stay at least 6 hours, the other half are 4 or less.
@ah I asked this 'are you living under a rock' question in a thread last week and people treated me like I was an imbecile that didn't understand how IP tracking works.
@ay they're tracking IP addresses and time spent but how many hours you're in isn't being used in metrics...yet. That's what they meant.

@b2 Badge swipes are no longer a factor in RTO compliance tracking. Connection to IP in a corporation is what counts now. This changed around end of Q1. Do people not read anymore?
@b2 Badge swipes aren't required at all sites, which is one of the reasons they switched to IP tracking. As has been pointed out here and in multiple other threads, any amount of time in office counts as a day, but YOUR TIME IN OFFICE IS BEING TRACKED. It is just not included in the current reporting.
You need a badge swipe and connect to wifi/network once in office, I’ve tested 10 mins on the network counted for my month.

What are you talking about? That is exactly what they're using to create the metrics in Workday.
I do four hours in the office and still get credit for the full day. My manager is happy with my attendance, but he did warn us that they’re tracking our IP addresses, although they’re not using that information right now. He also said the bank might not be as lenient as they were last time and could go back to April and adjust our in-office percentage.
Most managers aren’t going in for all eight hours either. I’m keeping track, and if they tell me anything, I’ll have the information to back myself up.
Are you living under a rock OP? YES, an IP connection at a corporate hub location is the entire basis of RTO tracking. You log in at a USB location and that day counts. They are tracking duration of connection but not currently including that in the compliance calculation. But that may change. And yes, non compliance will probably impact your bonus and even jepoardize your continued employment. Do whatever you want, but know that you might be terminated if you don't comply. Note I strongly disagree with all this bullsh-t but that's where Goonjun and her minions have taken us.
