That's not true, you sign the release of claims on Monday (and you all will - no one is going to fight Oracle's legal team), and you get your severance plus 1 month of paid health insurance.
They don't. They will pay if you agree to their offer for release of claims and you have Corba at the time of signing.
They are not giving it away, they actually put you at a disadvantage by terming your health insurance unnecessarily fast. (Most companies let insurance continue til the end of the month because their not monsters)
