@cj More likely “someone is getting paid off”- kickbacks and favoritism are common in India.
@en If you add up the number of Indian workers you use for all of your vendors, in addition to the direct H-1B’s, and oversees offshoring, in total the percentage is probably much closer to 40% of your total employment.
I have seen leaders try to slight the numbers and belittle the issue before but much like a used car salesman, you never give the complete picture.
This is nothing for cognizant labour force in US. Already people are have I140 approvals or GCs working here on contract.. it might be 5%.
Multiculturalism is paying off!
