Their originally once a team that handled outages pertaining to the uverse network, that acted as a liason between care and network teams to ensure outages were opened, escalated, and most importantly ambushed for customers to be advised. However Montrease Collier in her infinite wisdom closed that group down, believing in the bs the Kepler leadership team advised that their EEIM (end to end incident management) automation could handle the tasks of outages properly being ambushed and flagged via their incident management automation platform. Nice to see that despite our repeated attempts to let leadership know of Kepler's multiple issues with outages not being ambushed, prematurely closed, or not even detected...that nothing has changed apparently seeing how this was handled.
EEIM was mentioned in a recent insider post featuring Charlie Holt, if you was impacted by this outage be sure to drop him or Montrease a line and ask why the decision was made to fully let flawed automation handle this.
