@b8+1m1yrw7ka,

Why don't you drop your name on here so we can all ask you how its done sport.

Why are you saying that the Incident management system failed? It clearly didn't.

@kk

Uverse single point of contact...we handled network and product related outages associated with the uverse network. We ensured impacted network elements were properly flagged and ambushed so care experts and customers would be aware of outages in addition to sending triage calls if outages exceed a threshold impact. Our team was completely eliminated despite repeated examples of how you can have this solely handled by their EEIM model.

Network teams, incident management, care teams didnt want to lose us as they understood what we did and the value we brought...but the decision was left in the hands of someone who is nothing more than a DEI hire.

They made their bed, customers unfortunately will suffer as a result.

@bk what a weird attempt at a flex??
Every provider has issues and outages, it's just our turn in the barrell.
Did you post on the Vz board today as users in TN and other areas are reporting outages and no connectivity or on the tmo board a couple of days back when t‑Mobile had a nationwide outage were phones were stuck in SOS only mode, with no ability to make calls, send texts, or use data... I doubt it..but hey I'm sure living with your mom that 56K dial-up service is challenging and makes it difficult to both watch only fans content and get news updates but we get it a guys gotta have his priorities right.

Haha. You AT&T dorks are a bunch of whiney stoners with high-school educated union burnouts managing your infrastructure. Of course your sh-t breaks because you don't even know what you are. Entertainment? FirstNot? Media? Real estate? Satellite TV? Nope. Fiber and cell are all you got and you still eff it up. Funniest part is that you guys are proud of how little you do.

Their originally once a team that handled outages pertaining to the uverse network, that acted as a liason between care and network teams to ensure outages were opened, escalated, and most importantly ambushed for customers to be advised. However Montrease Collier in her infinite wisdom closed that group down, believing in the bs the Kepler leadership team advised that their EEIM (end to end incident management) automation could handle the tasks of outages properly being ambushed and flagged via their incident management automation platform. Nice to see that despite our repeated attempts to let leadership know of Kepler's multiple issues with outages not being ambushed, prematurely closed, or not even detected...that nothing has changed apparently seeing how this was handled.

EEIM was mentioned in a recent insider post featuring Charlie Holt, if you was impacted by this outage be sure to drop him or Montrease a line and ask why the decision was made to fully let flawed automation handle this.
