Even if you work your rear end off here it goes unnoticed. They will lay you off after many hard years. I missed many weddings, births, and funerals working here. Wish I could get those years back.

@ww Look at the history of this company's stock. Is performance of stock inline with top executives oay. The stock has mainly been flat. The only lever that management knows how to use is layoff when there are profit loss. You don't need an MBA to pull that lever. Maybe exec pay should be inline with rest of workers so they too can have work life balance as well.

Well, I had an early wake up call. When I saw my manager get the boot after 36 years of hard work. After that I realized that we don't matter. So I made a promise to never skip an important event and for my family. We busted our rears for this company to move up , guess what? Your hard work isn't enough, favoritism and buddy buddy system is a cancer eating throughout this dump. Best decision ever was to leave.

Iv seen grown men cry getting the tap on the shoulder you are just a number.if you get an offer anyplace else bail out if you can.
No one on their deathbed ever said that they wished they would've spent more time at work. Cherish your time with family and friends. Your job does not define you.
Perhaps you should have seen the writing on the wall much earlier and adjusted accordingly...
