I have seen a "re-evaluation" given (lack of what it really was defined as) when the company realized that many would jump ship due to underpayment and timeliness of any increase. saw this when agency from certain companies recvd a bump in pay across the board. agency workers never recv anything more than cola if timeliness of increases was standard. works out to be no more than 10% every 24mo

Always been this way. Take a nearly a miracle to correct much.

You’d have to jump ship and come back to get a pay raise. I had a colleague laid off a few years back and they got a job pretty quick with an 18% pay raise. They ended up a manager after a couple years that came with a significant pay bump. Plus, they’re still fully remote. There’s definitely opportunities outside Ford and if you’re fixing to increase your pay it’s better to sniff them out while you’re still employed. Pensions are no longer a thing so there’s no monetary or career benefit to staying with a company long term aside from feeling comfortable.

No. Don’t ask about this unless you want to have a target on your back and be in the next round of layoffs. Highest paid in their pay grade always get chopped. If you want a raise, go to a different company.
