Is this something I'll have to deal with from now on? I haven't interviewed in a while, and the first interview I got after I started looking was online with more than 20 people. Took me a while to even realize what was going on and I left before it was my turn to speak. I know it's not professional, but I was in shock. Is this really how interviews work now?

I have had a series of interviews lasting almost all day with 8 people in total, but never all at once.
@OP LOL. It was not an interview for you- it was an interview for most of them as there might be a “manager “ present
