Correction: previous executives got us into the regulatory mess, and we, the employees, got us out of it. The sum total of Shart's contribution was saying "hey guys, fix that", and maybe telling some other employees to make some campaign contributions. Either way, he wasn't actually doing anything.
Current leadership is what caused this entire train wreck. OP just can't be serious or this stupid.
