Yep. Best opportunities were always special events (meant for clients) where senior leaders demanded white glove treatment, requiring teammates to wait on them, their family and friends like they were royalty (extra tickets for family and friends and not clients, that’s a winner for the bottom line and the shareholders). The best su-k ups ignored the clients and slobbered the preening leaders with glee.
