I normally like to keep up with the latest phone because I like technology but hesitant to upgrade because I don’t want to be locked into a contract with an employer who wants me to quit or wants to fire me.
My plan is already ridiculously priced even at employee discount. Can’t imagine being locked into paying full price to an organization that just fired me.
I think will be switching to another carrier soon or going to an MVNO. I hate eSIM by the way.
US Mobile is awesome. Either $25 or $44 a month, cheaper if you pay annually, all 3 carriers, Starlink available and I buy my phones 24 months no internet from directly from the phone manufacturer.
I pay 50/month for att fiber and 40 for my att cell bundled together. Its a 55/over cell plan with unlimited text/data/calls in the us. No other company has even come close in price. Paid up front for the iphone 16 when i upgraded
Mint Mobile. I buy a year at a time for $200. That's $16/month. Refurbished phone on Amazon for $200. Works for me!
Left the company about a year ago. Imported back to Att. Big mistake. Service su-ks. Guess when they fire everyone and hire low wage workers in India, that’s what they get

Loyalty is dead. Shop around for the best rate. Other carriers will come close to price even with the discount if you shop throughout the year.

Yep -- I have 15 months until the phone is paid of with the monthly credit. I will then be moving on from ATT to a discount carrier. I have already gotten rid of my ATT Fiber. The $0.33 I received for the AT&T guarantee was a joke and not enough to keep me as a customer.
