Has anyone heard if a new selection event is scheduled for this December? Curious if any updates are circulating. I heard a rumor today.

@hf dei is not driving the push to take American jobs away from us and send them to Indian. It’s the almighty dollar. That is it black and white. Your whining about dei is making you blind. The powers that be care not about race or color. Except for greenbacks. If they can do it cheaper elsewhere, they will stab us in the back without thinking twice. Instead of dividing us with that whiny speech about dei, we should come together against the Drive to eliminate US jobs
There will be no more company wide layoffs. Those that have been put on a PIP will be shown the door. No one will survive a PIP. It will all be targeted and small. It's death by a thousand cuts.
No more selection events. Just PIPs and firings

The new DEI plan is to hire Indians
Possibly in a given function. Not whole company wide.
Great culture!!!! Offshoring as many jobs as possible to India, constant RIF cycles, DEI over best job candidate, and so much more. Just think if commodity price were lower how terribly bad things would be.
@bz - I disagree. The law function announced layoffs in late June and the employees they are laying off will be notified next week.
I seem to remember someone mentioning 20% headcount reduction by 2030. The 5% per year for low performers takes care of that.
There’s no way they could pull it off that fast unless you just mean they will announce it in December
