Nothing like hearing the EVP of LP saying your scorecard is going to su-k this year. I know it boosted my morale and desire to perform quality work.

@d3 if you avg since 2023 LP has had the highest scorecard out of any BU
Sorry y'all don't get to buy a Lambo this yr and have to hang out with the rest of us peasants
@fz well I don’t mind that thought process if individual performance was considered into your STIP like it was in the past. Now it doesn’t matter how good or bad you are in your job you are stuck with the “ideal” Canadian economic plan, communism.
LP has enormous built-in advantages, so its profitability reflects the economics and position of the business as much as how well it is run. Those advantages can make mediocre performance look better than it is.
The real comparison is how people perform relative to what is expected of them and what they could reasonably accomplish. The fallacy is assuming that because LP makes more money, the people working there must be creating more value. They aren’t.
Take pride in the value you create, not simply in the fact that oil generates higher profits than gas.
@ba I wouldn’t disagree with that. I like Colin he seems personable and does champion the company, its employees, and LP specifically; that being said Enbridge’s cash cow is LP. And for the last SEVERAL years LP has gotten the short end of the stick relative to other BUs when it came time for STIP. We need to revisit the LP scorecard calculations. I think our goals are out of whack and are INTENTIONALLY made out of reach.
LP EVP is the biggest champion of the LP team. We always hear him say “best in the business”. He’s treating you like an adult and giving it to you straight. Appreciate that and act like it. It could be worse, you could be in a central function where half your team is getting exited and your EVP doesn’t have your back.
