Something is definitely up…
I think the 3rd quarter numbers will be a disaster, but what do you expect when you totally re-org the Sales teams mid-year!!

Remember, the Clown in chief has an all hands next week on Wednesday, and the Clown in charge of Consulting has an all hands on Thursday.

No word on if something's happening next week, but who knows?

@Ca. I think you have hit the nail on the head. When you surprise the CFO and CEO right before an earnings announcement, you are playing with fire that may damage your future at IBM.
NOTE The sale was most likely scheduled months ago as Execs only get limited windows in which they are allowed to sell. One of those windows opened at the end on July, and that was most likely just after he got the news that his career just topped out

Gets better with more Columbo detective work...Looks like that imposter ALSO sold out IBM for another ripoff a year ago => March 3, 2025: Robert Thomas (Officer) sold 26,543 shares at $253.01 per share, totaling approximately $6.72 million.

So that is a cool $12,000,000 of shares IBM GAVE him as options at pure profit in 2 big cash outs in 2 years while they pack up and ship IBM off the India...

Makes Bernie Madoff look like a saint...

Sounds like he's been informed he will not, in fact, be the next CEO. Arvind probably bringing on a cousin or nephew to hand off the role to.

The day they canceled our raises this year I immediately sold all my IBM shares. Only 200 shares and ones that I bought with my own money not some kind of grants but it felt great. Then the fact that the stock dropped some 20% in the next few days made it that much sweeter.
