If you get laid off in January, would you be paid any carryover days from prior year? I think I might get laid off in January and have a lot of days left. I don’t want to use them, I rather get the payout next year if possible

@dq ok good. I don’t qualify for the rule of 60. Debating whether I should stick around for the severance and time off and then look. Or if I should get out while I can :(

Yes, you will get paid for unused carryover days. If you qualify for the "Rule of 60", you will also get paid for the full year of vacation days for 2027 (at least I did this past January).
If your termination date is before March 31st, then yes you will get paid out.
Otherwise, if it's after then they will expire
