I know of a few sr managers who are still here, in non-hub locations, while others have already either received their notices or been displaced. Portland, OR is one of them. Corporate Risk/FCRM. Is it preferential treatment? Exception made? How can someone Sr be spared while others are already gone?

If it is BV, they are a tool and failed their way up the ladder
That you don't know many people.
Everyone I know that is remote is white. What does that tell you?
A manager in the Denver area is fully remote, always has been. Not sure why they get an exception for remote and surprised with all the cuts they are still here.
No one in Portland will be spared.
@OP "...How can someone Sr be spared while others are already gone?..."
Because they are likely actually contributing. Not sitting on web forums and whining.
If the senior manager is high enough on the totem pole, the nonhub site actually become a hub. Still recall headquarters and most of the California hubs consolidating to NYC for just one person....
High level employees never have to follow the same rules as the plebes. That's not new. The HY crowd is just more in your face about it because they know garbage morale drives attrition and that's their goal.
It's preferential treatment of senior resource who they decided they really need. I see it a lot with people in Denver.
We should be reporting these location strategy violations to the ethics line.
Probably the same reason Courtney something got Philly to be a hub. Didn’t want to relo and the bank caved. Probably happens a lot.
@a2 just curious
The old life isn't fair routine
They have dirt on people
why do you care?
Their time hasn’t come yet?
