Several Optum programs have already been dismantled and transitioned to UHC Product.
@e5 define Optum tech.. there is no true one option tech. It's uhC TECH - OT, optum global - OT, etc
@ch "leadership" wants the org to throw off margin. Security desks at building entry sell girl scout cookies and cutco kn1ves. Lobbyists' comp tied to medicare reimbursement increases (just kidding, they're SLT and not accountable for anything!)
No "corporate support" without IOI, OT functions retrench to LOBs. Easiest is UHC with the pretend wall between UHC and Optum. Anything that doesn't fit will go to Optum ai and become a product, or get cut and we outsource to an SI if needed.

@a2 the rumor is that dy-e z is destroying UHC . HER goal is to move everything to offshore using Sh-t Cariot as her vehicle, get her bonus and jump ship before it sinks.

@c7 OT also serves other non UHC LOBs. Where will those teams belong... Moving IT under LOBs instead of a consolidated IT seems counter productive

I think they are trying to define what teams comprise the core business functionality, moving them all under UHC, and then everything else either gets cut or moved to Optum "AI"
@OP our team name didnt change, we just got moved completely under a new org tree in UHC and got moved out of ETIPS. All the leadership slides have UHC branding now and not Optum
@ar SD hates us. his AI mafia lining up cognizant and infosys to replace OA and clowns in Product have no clue he'll replace them with vendors. His OT cronies are playing Product to thnk they're buddies.

doesn't make sense that OT "sells" service to UHC with margin that accounting trick is over. Same as OA intersegment. OA has margin to UHC or OI and on top if OI sells external is more margin. So much sillyness but it's winding down as we outsource everything to dalit SI freshers.
Op, what you mean? Optum Tech is already under UHC, atleast in a lot of LOBs. Example MnR IT is Optum tech, which is already under UHC. only thing I did hear is that OI will be dissolved and fragments moved under UHC Tech. SDs mission is to completely ruin OI get his millions bonus and retire
@a2 but ETIPS it self was not moved to UHC but rather to UHG ..did your team spin off etips completely into a new name? Anyway you can reveal your team name? Just trying to make sense of this mess so I can connect the dots and figure out the intention of all these changes and decide if in just just ships. I am with CDO, now part of etips
Happened to my team that was in optum ETIPS. We got moved to UHC tech under JZmuda right before the big ETIPS re-org.
