I have this recurring fantasy to swap roles with my boss for a month. Let them try to handle the workload, the complexity, and the constant pressure. Let them see what it's actually like. I'm pretty sure they'd be begging to trade back within a week. But they'll never know, because they'd never survive.

Try having a micromanaging team member take over because the manager fails to make team member act their wage.
