@a3 I mailed all my stuff to myself with no issue. You all think Oracle is more locked down than they really are, there is never any follow through on anything at Oracle including securing devices and systems.
@ac What's about your payslips, tax records, certificates of training, photos from Oracle's events on that you (and / or family) appears on?
@bh General stuff like paystubs, performance reviews and bonus history are relevant to everyone. Emails expressing praise or gratitude should be retained as well.
Sales specific stuff I grabbed or wish I grabbed - presentations are helpful throughout the interview process, customer stories/notes, commission statements, screenshots documenting attainment, screenshots documenting performance vs peers (stack ranking etc), screenshots documenting deal close (this is important if oracle decides not to pay you).
Save. Everything.
It may seem useful to grab all your work. I started doing that months ago thinking the same. Can't recall ever going back into those folders trying to find something useful. Certainly not useful for my next job.
Use an external camera/phone camera to take photo if nothing works.
I have a company macbook. You can scp files out to another personal MacBook or others with sshd running
@a3 I regularly backed up my entire laptop and did a final backup the morning I was let go in March. Nothing is stopping anyone else from doing the same.

You can't get anything meaningful off any corporate laptops any more and its not just at Oracle. You can try emailing stuff to a personal email address but it will likely get stopped. Companies have processes in place to protect intellectual property from theft.
Get the important things that you might need like recent reviews and pay stubs. Now is a good time to get contact information for HR and anyone else you might need in the future.

Definitely take screenshots of code and documentation. Print out the source code too. You never know who might be interested in it. Plus it was yours on your computer
