a well planned mind fu-k? Several groups have been subjected to last minute (or are they) changes to their status. Some with RIF dates are then given different assignments within days of their change dates, some inside the company, some not. Now, the only update is that these offers are now given, allegedly, with the option to take severance or accept the extension keeping their severance offer intact. Be sure to get that in writing.

The small group of legacy Franklin Templeton employees who were unceremoniously thrown into Victory Funds "temporarily" according to SVP Ian McCoy, are not only still filling those roles, but have now been trained to take on additional work supporting other mutual funds like State Farm. It's hard to imagine that they will be laid off any time soon as their peak season is ramping up toward end of the year and then tax season. Now, that these highly experienced employees are fully trained to support all of the mutual funds, why would they be laid off? Of course, keep in mind who this employer is. Is it better to have a job than not? Sure, but a stable environment is important too.
Our teams are all getting switched around by new management who doesn't even understand what we do yet. Just coming from Global and not even sure what changes under FIS we'll have/what they're doing with us; it's utter chaos. About to be a lot of unhappy clients as they haven't even adjusted to the last change. People already jumping ship because we can't go through cluster F after cluster F for the little amount of money we make. The stress is too much for change after change after change and being thrown into roles with no training and being on call. Set up for failure.
@ag don't disagree, just exploring all options. When it becomes their MO, it seems so odd. Thoughts?
