Nikes product creation systems are fragmented, antiquated and su-k the life out of adding any value.
Flow is an attempt to create transparency and seamless integration end to end so as not to have to re-enter information a dozen times along the way. On paper it should be an amazing step fo.
In reality, too many VPs will fear losing their bloated orgs if it comes to fruition. Or, there will be a leadership change and the project will stall out and shift when it’s about 73% done. just when folks start to get excited about it….
Tech for Tech is a good way to describe it. You could also call it India for India. Indian VP's growing their org via ITC to pad their accomplishments and resume while funding personal travel to their home country. At the same time, the rest of the company contracts.
@OP Nike’s most consistent innovation lately: a seamless flow of cash into sustaining bullsh-t, paired with a relentless flow of talent straight out the door.
JS created a single app for product creation and design that he thinks is the best thing that Nike has right now. No output for revenue growth or savings. So another tech for tech investment.
@Op its another acronym that makes nike think its cool and entitled.
