Has anyone felt that they or another employee have been discriminated against for either age, gender or religion?

@3w1 Did not know that. Now, they've gone too far the other way!
There was a gender discrimination lawsuit around a decade ago, that's when TI started the whole woman promotion push. Took a lawsuit to break up the Good Ole Boy club. They still are wary of Asians in the C Suite. Even let Morris Chang go, all those years ago.
@321 I agree across the board
@31-x I think you might be right about women getting pushed forward too rapidly for positions they're not ready for. The concerning part about that is I wonder if people go softer on women in case the organization fails, which is unfair. But it's not like I haven't seen cr-ppy male management either. But back to the point. Yes, everyone should be given the opportunity to gain the skills first.
@31s I hate to break it to you they laid off the replaceable. They laid off the under performers, the low rating people. You never even talked about the womens only clubs or anything mentioned. They push women power absolutely, look this woman did this, that woman did that. When it should be this person DID THIS! Did you feel you earned the management positions they were trying to push down your throat (your words)? Was it rather you did not have the technical skills? or maybe you do have the technical skills. Did you see them asking those men with technical skills if they wanted lead, supervisor, management positions? or just you a woman? I am sure either way most people would be happy to even get an offer for a management job. I knew men who've went up for one and it was given to a woman with little experience in the department who's almost straight out of school. Don't you think they should have to gain leadership skills first?
How can this company treat women fairly. I was laid off and my dip sh-t colleges who did a fraction of the work got to stay. What does Fern Yoon have to say about that, she had a women's award a few weeks after layoffs. Women's power my a-s. Another pregnant woman got laid off around the same time I did, not to mention constantly having management try to shove management roles down your throat because you couldn't possibly be technical like men. At least I'm at a better company now. It's all pandering and bullsh-t.
@30h You think the company promoting women and having clubs not for men makes someone a s--- ? lol Then you're a 52 year old man with some issues. Sometimes facts can just be facts. lol If they had men only clubs the women would be losing their minds.
@2z7 52 year-old man who just thinks your a s-xist POS.
@2v7 listen as a woman I actually agree. When women succeed you want it to be off their work history not a trend. What happens when it is just the company pushing women; any women failing sets “women” back. So, I actually agree with the idea they do women this and that too much! Let’s do it off their actual talent
@2v7 Go ahead and fact check it. You're very correct it is s-xism but not on the side you think. Everything said about the company pushing women is 100% true and can be searched and proven. Sometimes things just are what they are and its okay to admit it. For example I can tell what you are and your age, and entitlement just from your one sentence. Because any logical woman would have done some research first and seen facts are facts but nope you went straight for the calling names and crying that its all mens fault and we're just out to get women. Try using that thing called google and doing the footwork before you open your mouth next time. Be part of the solution not the problem
The s-xism in this thread is wild
You know one thing TI is horrible about. If you look up all their employee promotions: for example who’s doing what and or employee highlights. It’s almost always women. We have more promotions for what women are doing in the industry than anything else! We have woman clubs as well. Imagine if we had a man’s only club how upset they’d be! There is a lot of talk about how people believe universally women get some positions because women businesses are tending. That’s sad
Quality entertainment 10/10. What a sh-t show this company has become. Keep it up! Remember kids, only two things matter in life. Shareholder value and passing down your miserable attitude.
@OP This is embarrassing
@zt that’s doubtful. I’m right before your pass down lol
You're all jumping to an incorrect conclusion.
This could have been a normal thread about the topic but no here enters "someone" to stir the pot. Just stop falling for comments and ignore them. She's always has to be the center of attention. So, if we stop letting her comments do that we can just ignore them and stay on topic.
I thought it was the person trying to be funny and make light of the forum since stuff had been so tense.
@fg why because I am using safe words vs words the thread doesn’t allow. Please learn to read the rules before you speak. lol you must be first shift, they are notorious for whys this not done without reading first
Treated fairly? No. For discriminatory reasons? Also no. TI treats people poorly universally.
@dj please learn how to communicate clearly
Alright this has to be Intel or something deviating from their pew pew (using safe word) incident. Trying to be like why we are not as bad as the other guys read their threads lol. Otherwise we have a serious drama lama in our fabs. Perhaps, a released employee? Lol
